Carlo Michel is a vocalist, performer, and music educator based in Cleveland, Ohio. His artistic work spans contemporary music and experimental sound, with a strong focus on expressive vocal performance, storytelling, and immersive live experiences. His approach centers on emotional authenticity and technical precision, using the voice as a core instrument of identity rather than genre limitation.
He currently performs as a singer in Moss Stanley’s Nitebridge, a live Motown tribute project that celebrates the sound, energy, and legacy of classic soul music. Alongside this, he continues to develop his own artistic voice through original work that bridges contemporary and experimental performance.
With over 16 years of experience working with singers, he also serves as a music educator specializing in contemporary vocal technique, helping performers build a healthy, flexible, and expressive voice across styles.
He is currently an Artist in Residence at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where he is developing The Roots, The Fire, The Future, a multi-chapter artistic project exploring musical identity through ancestral soundscapes, the foundations of Rock and Roll, and forward-looking electronic influences, culminating in an immersive live performance experience.
