Carlo Michel
Carlo Michel is a singer, songwriter, and music producer based in Cleveland, Ohio. His artistic work spans contemporary music and experimental sound, with a strong focus on expressive vocal performance, improvisation, and immersive live experiences. His approach centers on emotional authenticity, using the voice as a core instrument of identity rather than a limitation of genre.
He is currently an Artist in Residence at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where he is developing Ether, Fire, Possibilities—a multi-chapter artistic project exploring musical identity through ancestral soundscapes, the foundations of Rock and Roll, and forward-looking electronic influences, culminating in an immersive live performance experience.
In addition to his original work, he performs throughout Northeast Ohio and collaborates with a variety of live music projects, including Moss Stanley’s Nitebridge.
With over 16 years of experience working with singers, he also serves as a music educator specializing in contemporary vocal technique, helping performers build healthy, flexible, and expressive voices across styles.
